We are looking for DevOps engineer who will be responsible for Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar and for providing a durable, scalable and real-time messaging platform build on top of Apache Kafka/Pulsar for variety type of customers deployed in Comarch Cloud Infraspace (CIC). In this role you will be working closely with Dev and SecOps teams to architect, create CI/CD and maintain multi-az, low end-to-end latency distributed messaging systems.
Candidate profile
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science,
• Ability to work without or with minimal supervision
• Experience in Linux (RHEL 8, CentOS Streams 8, Oracle Linux 8) environments,
• Knowledge of distributed data systems,
• Working experience and advanced knowledge of Apache Kafka/Apache Pulsar architecture, configuration, maintenance, backup & restore, monitoring and profiling,
• Python & BASH coding,
• Able to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues,
• Attention to details and ability to architect and build CD processes,
• Experience in:
◦ automatization using Ansible or similar - must have,
◦ building CI/CD processes using Jenkins, GitLab or similar - must have,
◦ containerization (Docker, Podman),
◦ managing production systems with a strong availability SLA,
◦ creating technical documentation,
Your responsibilities
• build and maintain CI/CD processes used for deployment, (no-)outage updates, services & clusters managment, backup and recovery
• maintain distributed messaging systems, that includes user & privileges managment, monitoring, performance analyzing
• with QA, DEV, Sec teams and others, work out stack enhancements & new features
