The leader will have management responsibility with a significant focus on business development for our potential clients in the UK & Ireland.
We are strengthening Comarch’s team in the UK with a Business Development Manager for our Financial Services division (Banking & Insurance sector). If you have ever wanted to work with financial institutions within the IT sector and provide top-notch solutions for the most demanding customers this role is designed for you.
Candidate profile
- Degree in Economics, Finance, IT, Business Administration, Management, or Entrepreneurship
- 3+ years of work experience (preferably in enterprise sales to Financial Institutions), in particular knowledge of banking products, understanding industry best practices and how IT solutions support clients' business goals
- Proven success in driving business growth, meeting sales targets, and establishing strategic partnerships
- Charismatic and optimistic in day-to-day work as well as patient, confident and determined
- Self-motivated and result-oriented, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong initiative and proven influencing / impact skills
Your responsibilities
- Identify client needs and generate new business opportunities for Comarch in the area of banking solutions
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to meet sales targets and revenue goals
- Build direct contacts and strong client relationships to proactively respond to their needs and promote Comarch’s solutions for assigned accounts
- Establish credibility and trust with key decision-makers and influencers and stakeholders in target organizations at client organizations
- Present and promote our products and services to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition and differentiators
- Lead and coordinate proposal preparations with cooperation and support from other departments (pre-sales, R&D, implementation, support, etc.) to prepare on-time, high-quality offers
- Day-to-day management and up-sell to the built accounts portfolio
- Negotiate and close business deals, including contracts, pricing, and terms, while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term success
