Comarch IoT Division consist of people who have many ideas and are able to transfer them into reality.

We implement IoT projects at the confluence of IT, cloud, electronics and embedded systems. Always chasing the latest technologies.  We are searching for dynamic, open-minded Business Development Manager IoT to support our sales team in the Rome office.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • The candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Telecommunications, Automation, Business Management, Marketing, Sales or related field, or equivalent work of a minimum of three years’ experience in sales or consulting/pre-sales in the Software/IT industry.
  • Fluent in Italian (written and spoken)
  • Good English level (written and spoken)
  • Strong and confident with presentation and demonstration skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure
  • Experience in Sales will be an additional plus
  • Experience with IT or Industrial space and areas of IoT, with preferred focus on Smart Manufacturing (Industry 4.0), Utilities, Asset Tracking, Warehouse Management, Smart Metering
  • Proven interest in Digital Technology, Industrial space, and/or Utilities
  • Capacity to think in a creative and innovative way, out-of-the-box
  • Clear commercial mindset, constantly focusing on delivering value for the Customer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day management of new IoT accounts from Italy and being the voice of the customer within internal structures
  • Being responsible for working with marketing inquiries and personal prospecting, generating new business opportunities with special attention to Industry 4.0, Asset Tracking and Smart Metering solutions
  • Coordinating whole sales process from lead qualification, proposals’ preparation, negotiating the contracts - in coordination with Consulting, Operations, Legal, Management Team
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets through new business development
  • Involvement in C-level meetings
  • Developing a good understanding of the customer needs, products and vertical market
  • Acting as a company representative for trade shows, events, webinar and conferences
  • Being proactive towards daily business, proposing fresh ideas and new ways to seek opportunities
