Product Marketing Manager

Reference number: FS/1025300
Locations:
Brussels
As a provider of innovative IT systems for the financial sector, we are looking for a highly autonomous expert to take ownership of marketing for our Insurance product line across the Benelux and Switzerland markets.

We are looking for an "orchestrator" and a "self-sufficient producer" who converts existing product depth and client relationships into a measurable pipeline. You will be the sole dedicated marketing owner for this business line, working closely with Sales leadership, the product organization, and central marketing services to position our solutions effectively in a highly regulated industry.

If you have a proven track record of delivering complex marketing projects, hands-on proficiency with AI tools, and the maturity to represent the company credibly toward enterprise clients – Apply!

Job Profile

  • B2B Marketing Experience: 4+ years of B2B product marketing or marketing management experience in software, technology, or financial services, with full ownership of positioning, programs, and commercial results (not just execution of others' briefs).
  • Self-Sufficient Orchestrator: Comfortable acting as the dedicated marketing owner for the business line, proactively driving initiatives rather than needing a large production team behind you.
  • AI Proficiency in Marketing: Hands-on experience with AI tools (LLM-based writing/research assistants, AI image generation). You can independently produce campaign-ready materials to a strictly verified-facts standard suitable for a regulated industry.
  • MarTech & Analytics Literacy: Working knowledge of a marketing automation/CRM platform (HubSpot preferred), including campaigns, nurture sequences, landing pages, and pipeline reporting. Confident use of analytics to track campaign success.
  • Stakeholder Maturity: Proven ability to work as a peer with senior Sales leadership, extract expertise from the product organization, and manage complex, deadline-fixed projects (such as a full conference or trade-show presence).
  • Language Proficiency: English C1+
  • Education & Tools: Degree in marketing, business, economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency in the standard office and collaboration stack (Google Workspace or MS Office).
  • Nice to have:
  • Domain experience in insurance or insurtech (insurers, brokers, bancassurance, or software vendors serving them).
  • Familiarity with how regulated enterprises evaluate AI capabilities.
  • Experience with thought-leadership and white-paper work alongside subject-matter experts.
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) approaches and tooling, webinar/event platforms, and CMS basics.

Your Tasks

  • Own Marketing for the Insurance Product Line: Drive positioning, messaging, and the annual marketing plan for Benelux and Switzerland, aligned with Sales priorities, with a long-term view of building a small production team as the business scales.
  • Pipeline Generation & Reporting: Own a measurable pipeline contribution target for the sector, agreed with Sales and reported monthly through the marketing platform.
  • AI-Assisted Content Creation: Independently create campaign materials (presentations, landing pages, email sequences, articles) using AI workflows. Ensure every external claim is strictly verified against source material before publication.
  • AI Product Sales Campaigns: Drive the marketing side of growing AI-related product sales to the existing client base, converting installed-base relationships and product depth into qualified opportunities.
  • Event Ownership: Plan and deliver the sector's flagship Q4 industry conference presence end-to-end: concept, target accounts, content, on-site delivery (with agency support), and post-event lead qualification and follow-up.
  • Thought-Leadership Program: Build expert publications developed with the product organization's SMEs, positioned for a conservative, regulated buying audience.
  • Knowledge Base Management: Maintain the Insurance section of the product knowledge base (verified claims, references, competitive positioning) as the foundation for all AI-assisted content.
  • Process Governance: Operate strictly within the team's shared standards: brand and quality gates, campaign processes, and event-to-pipeline reporting disciplines.

What’s in it for you

  • Private medical care with Allianz – access to specialists and diagnostic tests for you and your loved ones.
  • Cafeteria system – you can choose full funding for a Multisport card or allocate funds to culture, leisure, sports, and shopping.
  • Hybrid work model (after the onboarding period: 2 days remote, 3 days in the office).
  • Access to advanced AI tools and Google Workspace.
  • Collaboration with diverse competency teams, allowing you to learn new technologies and expand your IT knowledge.
  • Professional growth and a real impact on business decisions.
