Senior Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition and manage key enterprise customers within the telecommunications sector. In this role, you will lead complex sales cycles, build long-term customer relationships, and position Comarch’s IT solutions as strategic enablers for telecom providers and related industries.
You will work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and technical teams to develop value-driven, solution-based offers and support customers in achieving their business and technology objectives.
Candidate profile
- Degree in business, finance, marketing or technical studies, or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience in selling enterprise IT solutions (ideally within telecoms or related sectors)
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- In-depth knowledge of the global telecommunications market
- Strong initiative and proven ability to influence outcomes and drive decisions at senior levels
- Proven consultative sales approach with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit, able to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Awareness of latest marketing and industry trends with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies for clients
- Strong customer relationship management skills, with a focus on building trust and long-term partnerships
- Skilled in negotiations, presentations, and solution-based selling
Your responsibilities
- Develop and execute a proactive new customer acquisition strategy targeting telecommunications providers and related sectors
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation through to deal closure, for both new and existing customers
- Day-to-day account management of key accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and growth
- Identify, develop, and follow up on new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and market trends
- Lead presentations, demos, and workshops with both prospective and existing customers using a consultative, value-focused approach
- Monitor competitor activity and client developments to position Comarch solutions effectively
- Drive and coordinate proposal preparation with internal stakeholders (pre-sales, R&D, implementation, support, etc.), ensuring timely delivery of high-quality offers
- Lead commercial negotiations and support contract finalisation
