Senior Implementation Consultant – EDI & e‑Invoicing

As a Senior Implementation Consultant for EDI & e-Invoicing, you will act as a key link between our enterprise clients in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region and our primary technology delivery hubs in Poland. In this role, you will leverage cloud-based Comarch EDI platform solutions to ensure seamless, secure, and real-time Electronic Data Interchange, as well as automated business document workflows for partners across logistics, procurement, sales, and finance. You will lead technical implementation initiatives while ensuring full compliance with local e-invoicing regulations. Beyond hands-on consulting, you will manage client relationships on-site, oversee SLA compliance, and actively support regional pre-sales expansion across the MEA market.

Candidate profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Commerce, or a related technical field
• Minimum 4–6 years of documented professional experience in IT system implementations, with at least part of that experience in a client-facing senior or lead role
• Proven track record of independently managing full implementation cycles — from kick-off through go-live and hypercare — within enterprise or mid-market client environments
• Fluent English (C1/C2), both written and spoken — required for daily collaboration with the Polish delivery hub, technical teams and international client stakeholders
• Knowledge of Arabic is a strong asset; knowledge of other regional languages (Hindi, Urdu) is an additional plus given the multicultural business environment of the UAE
• Experience working in or with the Middle East market is strongly preferred — understanding of local business culture, client expectations, and regulatory landscape (e.g., UAE FTA, ZATCA in KSA) is a significant advantage
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently with strong self-management, proactive communication, and an ownership mindset
• High interpersonal and stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging with both C-level sponsors and technical integration teams on the client side

Your responsibilities

• Independent management and execution of EDI/e-Invoicing implementation projects for UAE clients — including project planning, requirements analysis, configuration, testing coordination, UAT support, go-live, and hypercare
• Serving as the primary on-site point of contact for UAE and MEA clients during all phases of the project lifecycle, including regular client site visits and workshops
• Close operational collaboration with Polish development, technical support, and product teams — acting as the in-region bridge between the client and the Warsaw/Kraków-based delivery hub
• Coordination of post-implementation maintenance activities: handling escalations, ensuring SLA compliance, participating in incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Monitoring and reporting Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics; preparing and presenting service review reports for key account.
• Supporting business development activities in the region — participating in pre-sales meetings, preparing solution demos, contributing to RFP/RFI responses, and acting as a subject matter expert for the commercial team
• Following implementation and stabilization of the UAE client portfolio: gradual extension of activities to adjacent MEA markets as a regional deployment lead
• Proactive identification of expansion opportunities within existing accounts (upsell/cross-sell in cooperation with the account management team)
• Contributing to internal knowledge base development — documenting regional implementation patterns, client-specific configurations, and lessons learned
