We have dominated the Enterprise loyalty landscape, partnering with global giants. Now, we are launching a dedicated Mid-Market division to empower the next generation of high-growth brands. We are seeking a heavy-hitting Sr. Business Development Manager to spearhead this entry. This is a founding, high-autonomy role reporting to the Sr. Director, Business Development. You aren't just joining a team; you are building the engine. You will function as the "General Manager" of this segment, responsible for translating our Enterprise-grade technology into a high-velocity Mid-Market machine for Retail/Ecomm and QSR brands in the US and Canada.
Candidate profile
- 8+ Years of B2B SaaS Sales: With at least 4 years specifically within Loyalty, MarTech, or CRM.
- The "Builder" Pedigree: Proven experience being the "first boots on the ground." You have a track record of taking a $0 territory to $1.5M+ autonomously.
- QSR/Retail/Ecomm DNA: You understand the nuance of the industry—from franchisee relations and "line-busting" tech to how a 1% increase in coffee frequency changes a QSR’s annual EBITDA.
- Autonomous Mindset: You don't want a script; you want a goal. You are comfortable managing your own pipeline and reporting directly to leadership on market trends.
Your responsibilities
- Market Architecture: Define the ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) for Mid-Market Retail/E-comm and QSR (50–500 locations). You tell us what the winning play is.
- Full-Cycle Mastery: Autonomously manage the entire funnel. You will identify, nurture, and close complex loyalty deals ($400k–$800k ACV) without needing a hand to hold.
- Vertical Authority: Leverage your existing C-Suite and VP-level ‘rolodex’ in the Retail/E-comm and QSR space. You should be able to open doors at brands that are outgrowing their current legacy loyalty tools or looking to create new programs.
- Consultative Loyalty Strategy: Act as a strategic advisor, helping prospects understand how to leverage gamification, tiered rewards, and zero-party data to drive Recency, Frequency, and Monetary (RFM) value.
- Strategic Feedback Loop: Act as the bridge between the market and our Product team, ensuring our loyalty solution evolves to meet specific Mid-Market technical needs (e.g., POS and segment-critical integrations, mobile app friction).
