Business Development Manager

For our Australian branch we are looking for an accomplished, self-driven, communicative and ambitious Business Development Manager with experience in marketing, CRM and loyalty solution sales. The person hired for this position will have a unique opportunity grow Comarch’s presence in the ANZ region and beyond.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Degree in Economics, IT, Marketing, Management or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience and a proven track record in sales of software solutions
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field (loyalty, advertising, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge and experience working in one or more of the following industries: retail, oil & gas telecommunications, FMCG, finance or aviation
  • Existing business network within one or more of the above industries; or a strong desire and readiness to build one
  • Excellent soft, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyse customer requirements and needs
  • A self-starter and a results-oriented attitude
  • Availability for frequent business trips (up to 30% of working time)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting sales targets set by the management
  • Creating and executing a sales strategy for allocated product range and region
  • Developing and sourcing a strong pipeline of prospective clients and qualified leads
  • Facilitating the overall sales process for new leads, including first contact, discovery phase, meetings and contract negotiation
  • Lead and coordinate proposal preparations in cooperation with other departments within Comarch (presales, R&D, implementation, support, etc.) to prepare on time and high-quality proposals
  • Organizing own marketing activities in order to promote Comarch solutions
  • Representing Comarch at external events
