Business Development Manager IoT

We’re looking for a dynamic, open-minded Sales or Business Development Manager to join  Comarch's IoT Division in Italy. You would be part of a team constantly looking for new ideas, with a bias for action. Constantly on the hunt for the latest tech, we implement IoT projects at the intersection of IT, cloud technologies, electronics and embedded systems.

The successful candidate would be Comarch’s point of reference for IoT in the Italian market, working closely with the local sales team, the country manager and the consulting/pre-sales team in Milan, as well as with the product development, operations and management teams at Comarch’s headquarters.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Automation, Business Management, Marketing, Sales or related field, or at least three years’ work experience in sales or consulting/pre-sales in software/IT 
  • Fluent in Italian (written and spoken)
  • Good level of English (written and spoken)
  • Immaculate presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Previous experience in sales will be considered a plus
  • Experience with IT, the industrial space or any areas of IoT, industry 4.0, asset tracking would be a definitive advantage
  • Proven interest in digital technology, the industrial space and/or utilities
  • Ability to think out of the box, finding creative solutions to business problems 
  • A commercial mindset, with a focus on delivering value to our customers

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage new IoT Italian accounts, including representing customers in internal meetings
  • Work on marketing inquiries and personal prospecting, generating new business opportunities with a focus on industry 4.0 and asset tracking solutions
  • Coordinate the sales cycle from lead qualification, to proposals, to contracts, working closely with the consulting, operations, legal, and management teams
  • Finding and pursuing new business development opportunities, with a view to meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Participate in C-level meetings
  • Develop a good understanding of customer needs, Comarch products, and market requirements and trends
  • Act as a Comarch ambassador at trade shows, events, webinars and conferences
  • Bring new ideas to the table and suggest new ways to seek business development opportunities
