Business Development Manager IoT

Comarch IoT Division is a fast-growing technology wing of Comarch Capital Group, providing comprehensive IoT solutions combining hardware and software, standing out from its competitors in quality, time to market and production scaling capabilities.

We are searching for dynamic, open-minded Sales Professional with the potential to transform into an IoT Business Development Manager role, representing Comarch on the local market, working closely with local Sales team, country General Manager and IoT Technical Consulting/Pre-sales in Milan, and Product Development, Operations and Management in Company HQs.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • The candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Telecommunications, Automation, Business Management, Marketing, Sales or related field, or equivalent work of a minimum of three years’ experience in sales or consulting/pre-sales in the software/IT industry.
  • Fluent in Italian (written and spoken)
  • At least good English (written and spoken)
  • Strong and confident with presentation and demonstration skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure
  • Experience in Sales will be an additional plus
  • Experience with IT or Industrial space and areas of IoT, Industry 4.0, Asset Tracking will be an additional plus
  • Proven interest in Digital Technology, Industrial space, and/or Utilities
  • Capacity to think in a creative and innovative way, out-of-the-box
  • Clear commercial mind set, constantly focusing on delivering value

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day management of new IoT accounts from Italy and being the voice of the customer within internal structures
  • Being responsible for working with marketing inquiries and personal prospecting, generating new business opportunities with special attention to Industry 4.0 and Asset Tracking solutions
  • Coordinating whole sales process from lead qualification, proposals’ preparation, negotiating the contracts - in coordination with Consulting, Operations, Legal, Management Team
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets through new business development
  • Involvement in c-level meetings
  • Developing a good understanding of the customer needs, products and vertical market
  • Acting as a company representative for trade shows, events, and conferences
  • Being proactive towards daily business, proposing fresh ideas and new ways to seek opportunities
