Senior Business Developer - Banking software solutions

We are strengthening Comarch’s team in Brussels by looking for a Senior Business Developer for our Banking division. If you have ever wanted to work within the IT sector, provide top-notch software solutions and services for the most demanding customers this role is designed for you.

Candidate profile

  • Degree in Economics, Financial Services, IT, Business Administration, Management, or Entrepreneurship
  • 5+ years of work experience (in a bank, consulting or technology company specialized in Financial Services, Fintech…)
  • Knowledge of banking products and processes is required.  We particularly value knowledge of at least one of the following areas: SME&Corporate banking, cash management, lending and financing, factoring and supply chain finance
  • Excellent written and spoken command of English
  • Excellent written and spoken command of French or Dutch
  • Charismatic and optimistic in day-to-day work as well as patient, confident and determined
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work independently

Your responsibilities

  • Create, develop and execute a sales strategy in the area of banking in Benelux & France (product offering, sales strategy, key accounts)
  • Proactively generating new business opportunities for Comarch in the area of banking in Benelux & France
  • Taking responsibility for the overall sales results in Benelux & France region (pipeline, people management, coaching)
  • Building direct contacts with potential new clients
  • Coordinating activities on large accounts (Tier 1 international financial groups)
  • Contributing to a successful marketing strategy
  • Lead demos and meetings with existing and prospective customers
  • Representing Comarch on industry fairs and events
  • Market analysis (trends, challenges, competition…)
  • Lead and coordinate proposal preparations with co-operation and support from other departments (pre-sales, R&D, implementation, support, etc.) to prepare on-time, high-quality offers
  • Contract negotiations
