Technical Presales Consultant (Telecom Sector)

Candidate Profile
- Education: University-level degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or Economics – ideally combined with a technical/Engineering background (IT, Telecommunications, or related fields)
- Telecom Expertise: Strong technical background and understanding of telecom network technologies and architectures (e.g., 4G, 5G networks, OSS, BSS systems, NOC, or SMC)
- Industry Experience: Experience working with Telecom companies as a pre-sales specialist, technical sales support, or consultant. Alternatively, experience working directly within a Telecom operator (understanding NOC, SMC, Engineering, or IT departments)
- Solution-Oriented Mindset: Technical ability to understand and learn customer expectations from the Telco sector, with a specific focus on Operations Support Systems (OSS), Business Support Systems (BSS), and Autonomous Networks (AN)
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication skills in both Japanese and English. Ability to conduct compelling technical presentations for clients
- AI & Tech Savvy: Openness to working with modern AI-driven tools to enhance productivity, streamline data analysis, and accelerate technical documentation workflows
- Personal Traits: Charisma, optimism, patience, confidence, and determination in goal realization
Your Responsibilities
- Business Development Support: Help identify, develop, and follow up on new business opportunities within the Telecom sector, especially in the OSS/BSS domain
- Client Consulting: Consult with prospective customers on their business needs and current environments, recommending the appropriate Comarch solutions
- Presentations & Demos: Perform high-quality presentations and demonstrations of Comarch software solutions to showcase how they fulfill client requirements
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Cooperate with Production and Implementation departments to conduct extensive demonstrations and prototypes (defining requirements, coordination, configuration, testing, and prototype presentation)
- AI-Enhanced RFx Processes: Lead, coordinate, and participate directly in RFI/RFQ/RFP processes. You will leverage our AI-First ecosystem to streamline solution description, effort estimation, and documentation drafting, allowing you to focus on strategic architecture
- End-to-End Bid Management: Participate in all stages of the RFx process (architecture preparation, pricing estimations, supporting negotiations, and descriptive presentations)
- Project Transition: Participate in the early stages of implementation projects (solution concept, analysis) to ensure a smooth transition from sales to deployment
- Industry Presence: Represent the company at conferences, workshops, and working meetings. This includes public speaking, networking, and helping prepare technical content for marketing materials
