Companies are already working on cars with solar panels that will charge batteries while driving or parked. Another innovation? Cars that unlock and start using facial recognition, fingerprints, or voice—without traditional keys. Increasingly, virtual fitting rooms are appearing on store websites. Customers can create their avatars and "try on" clothes without leaving home. In the future, these fitting rooms will work with AI to offer wardrobe suggestions. Users will also be able to customize clothes in real-time, changing colors, patterns, or lengths. As for shopping for home appliances, changes are evident here as well. Although washer-dryers are already available, new devices are emerging that monitor their own condition. For example, IoT-equipped refrigerators check their status and suggest or even order groceries automatically, without user involvement.
