Business Development Manager⁠-⁠Banking & Insurance

We are strengthening Comarch’s team in Brussels by looking for an Business Development Manager for our Financial Services division (Banking & Insurance domain). If you have ever wanted to work within the IT sector, provide top-notch solutions for the most demanding customers this role is designed for you.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Degree in Economics, Finance, IT, Business Administration, Management, or Entrepreneurship
• 2+ years of work experience (preferably in Financial Services area), in particular knowledge of financial products and processes in Retail, Corporate, Private banking & Insurance
• Excellent written and spoken command of English. Knowledge of Dutch and French is an asset
• Charismatic and optimistic in day-to-day work as well as patient, confident and determined
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work independently
• Strong initiative and proven influencing / impact skills

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively generating new business opportunities for Comarch in the area of banking and insurance
• Create, develop and execute a pro-active sales strategy for assigned accounts
• Building direct contacts with potential new clients
• Day-to-day management of existing accounts
• Lead demos and meetings with existing and prospective customers
• Market analysis (trends, challenges, competition…)
• Lead and coordinate proposal preparations with co-operation and support from other departments (pre-sales, R&D, implementation, support, etc.) to prepare on-time, high-quality offers
• Contract negotiations
