Facility Maintenance Technician

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management
• Strong operational knowledge of building systems and equipment
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience in conducting preventive and emergency maintenance tasks
• Proven skills in inventory management and procurement
• Strong documentation skills for creating and maintaining SOPs
• Flexibility to be on standby outside of regular business hours
• Technical certifications are a plus

Your Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on the facility, grounds, equipment, and systems
• Utilize the BMS system to diagnose issues and address alarms
• Plan and execute equipment upgrades, replacements, and installations, acting as the primary point of contact and supervising issue resolution conducted by the maintenance company.
• Coordinate maintenance contracts with vendors, assess future needs, and prepare contract offers in advance
• Document standard operating procedures for preventive and emergency maintenance
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure acquired services and products are optimal for business performance
• Report and collect IT requirements between Comarch and interested parties
