System Engineer - DevOps

Join our Operations team in Bangkok and become part of a global IT organization supporting enterprise-grade loyalty systems for international customers. You will work in a distributed DevOps/SRE-driven environment responsible for maintaining high availability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical platforms. Our team operates in a 24/7 model, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and security teams across Asia, Europe and Americas. We focus on operational excellence, automation, observability, and continuous improvement. Our technology stack includes Linux-based environments, cloud and hybrid infrastructures, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring and log analytics platforms (e.g., ELK/Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana), automation tools, and scripting (Python/Bash). We use Jira, Confluence, Git-based repositories, and modern DevOps toolchains to manage and improve our services. Candidate profile

  • Experienced (2–5+ years) in IT Operations, DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Support
  • Familiar with Linux systems
  • Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python or similar)
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers)
  • Experienced with monitoring and log analysis tools
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms or containerization (Kubernetes/Docker) is a strong advantage
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Experience in loyalty platforms is a plus
  • Open for learning new skills
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to automate repetitive tasks
  • Communicative and effective in an international environment

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain high availability of enterprise systems
  • Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
  • Participate in incident management and on-call rotations (if applicable)
  • Collaborate with Dev, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure stable releases
  • Support deployments and configuration changes
  • Improve system observability (logs, metrics, alerts)
  • Automate operational processes to reduce manual effort
  • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and tooling
  • Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards (ex. EU regulations)
