Business Development Manager – TELCO

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth of our Telecommunications solution for Enterprise clients in the USA.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the telecommunications market/technology, including industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in telecommunications or other industries
  • Experience in selling OSS/BSS solutions to utility or telco companies is a huge plus

Your responsibilities

  • Source and cultivate a robust pipeline of prospective clients and qualified leads within the utility and telco sectors
  • Identify, research, and target potential customers effectively
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key purchasing decision-makers, executive sponsors, and decision influencers within target organizations
  • Lead the sales process for new opportunities, including responding to RFx requests, conducting discovery sessions, facilitating meetings, and negotiating contracts
  • Achieve predetermined sales and profit objectives through proactive sales efforts and strategic account management
  • Coordinate pricing and contract negotiations to secure new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Department Director to develop and execute telecommunication marketing initiatives and campaigns tailored for the US market
