We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Legal & Compliance Expert with a strong background in Commercial & Corporate Law to strengthen our international expansion across existing and new markets. This is a high-visibility, client-facing role for an expert who will serve as our representative "face of legal & compliance". You will directly support our global growth by leading high-stakes negotiations with client C-level executives, structuring our international legal footprint, and representing the business in key public speaking engagements.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification
- Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on legal experience in the IT / SaaS industry
- Experience operating in an individual contributor role with high autonomy
- Hands-on legal expert with a proven track record of directly redlining, negotiating and closing SaaS agreements in partnership with Sales/Revenue teams
- Experience in global corporate expansion, independently leading the legal incorporation of new entities in foreign markets (e.g., ASEAN, MENA, Americas)
- Fluency in spoken and written Legal English at C1 or C2 level
- Deep expertise in IT compliance including GDPR/RODO, AI Act, cloud data security and SLAs
- Proven track record of direct negotiations with C-level client executives
- Readiness to act as a representative figure in compliance and lead public speaking engagements
- Residence within Europe or willingness to work in from our offices in Cracow or Warsaw
- Familiarity with e-invoicing concepts as an added advantage
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the legal review, redlining, and negotiation of high-stakes, multi-country SaaS and implementation contracts with global enterprise clients
- Manage corporate law processes and coordinate collaboration with local law firms across international jurisdictions
- Serve as the main advisor on legal risk management for international business ventures and market entries
- Build trust around compliance, data security, and solution legality as a strategic legal sponsor during direct negotiations with client leadership
- Pragmatic, commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk with business reality- acting as a 'business enabler' who helps close deals securely
- Represent the company as a subject matter expert at industry events and deliver public presentations on regulatory topics
