Head of PR & Communications
Reference number: CA
Locations:
Krakow, Warsaw
This is a high-impact, hands-on role for an operational builder. You set the E-Invoicing sector's public narrative, run media relations across key global regions, produce the thought-leadership that makes our experts quotable and equip sales and partners with communication material that lands.
Reporting directly to the Sector CMO, with a dotted functional line to the Sector CEO for executive narrative and sector-level messaging, you will embed inside the sector marketing team and collaborate daily with Product Management, Presales, Delivery, Regional Sales leads and Comarch’s central Group PR. You will run a lean, highly effective function with the leverage of a much larger team- which means deploying AI-assisted workflows as standard operational practice, not an experiment.
As this role requires close collaboration with our core teams and key markets, we are seeking a candidate based in Europe.
Candidate Profile
- 5-8 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or content-led marketing, including at least 3 years in enterprise SaaS, B2B technology, FinTech, RegTech
- Proven, verifiable track record of securing earned media coverage across international markets (financial, tech, tax, and CFO trade publications), including personally pitching journalists, placing experts, and running global campaigns
- Self-driven approach with a high degree of independence, able to set your own priorities as a single owner, work directly with executive leadership, and ship output without needing layers of middle management above you
- Exceptional ability to read complex regulatory guidelines, tax directives, or technical software specifications and rapidly translate them into clear, engaging, and accurate commercial language
- Extensive experience advising C-level leaders and ghostwriting opinion pieces, keynotes, and articles while holding someone else's voice consistently
- Practical, daily use of AI tools in production work (drafting, research, media monitoring, content repurposing) combined with sharp judgment on where AI output must be human-verified
- Native-level or fluent C1+ written English, acting as the final editorial authority for all English sector content, with a requirement to be based in Poland or
- European time zones (working in a hybrid setup out of Kraków or Warsaw)
- Nice to Have:
- Direct exposure to or familiarity with the e-Invoicing, EDI, VAT compliance, AP/AR automation or ERP ecosystems
- Prior experience managing multi-regional PR campaigns across DACH, France, Benelux, Nordics, UK, North America, ASEAN or MEA
- Experience with analyst relations (IDC, Forrester, Gartner-adjacent programs) or with major industry awards and ranking submissions
- Crisis and issues communication experience within a SaaS or service-availability context
- Additional working languages (German, French, or Spanish)
- Experience building a communications function from a standing start rather than inheriting one
Your Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the sector's story, positioning Comarch e-Invoicing clearly in the market and keeping messaging accurate across all regional markets
- Plan and execute international media relations across key regions (Europe, Americas, ASEAN, MEA), maintaining direct relationships with key journalists, briefing spokespeople and managing regional PR agencies
- Drive the thought leadership agenda by converting complex tax and technical topics into high-impact whitepapers, explainers and ghostwritten content for the Sector CEO and leadership team
- Equip sales, presales and channel partners with buyer-facing communication tools, product launch materials, case studies and flagship event messaging
- Deploy AI-assisted workflows for research, media monitoring, and content repurposing while maintaining strict standards for accuracy and human verification
- Track market Share of Voice, report monthly PR KPIs to executive leadership and manage the function's budget across agencies, tooling, and content production
For You
